Alice In Wonderland Ballet by Romero Britto Albuquerque Theatre reviews
Great show despite sound quality of mixing
Chris and the band exuded immense energy and enthusiasm, making for a perfect blend of classics and new music. A lot of fan interaction was witnessed, with plenty of handshakes exchanged with those standing near the front of the small venue, creating a more intimate setting. Despite my love for Alice In Wonderland Ballet by Romero Britto, there was definitely something off with the mixing, as the vocals of the opening act were drowned out. I tried to address this with the mixer person before the show began, but encountered the same issue during the performance. The band's vocals were crystal clear during a previous show in Trenton, leading me to wonder if the sound system at MAC was subpar. Nevertheless, I appreciated the video images displayed during several songs, even though Chris's voice was not always audible.
